As the Founder and President of Trinity Consulting & Counseling, my vision is to create a place of emotional healing and support, not only throughout the state of Indiana but across the world. I am committed to providing a safe and compassionate environment where individuals and families can find hope, healing, and the tools needed to lead fulfilling lives.
Trinity MS Intern
Kari McMillin is a intern with a distinctive background as a former probation officer and DCS case manager. Her firsthand experience in the justice system gives her a deep understanding of the unique challenges faced by justice-involved clients who often present with high mental health needs, complex trauma, and sexual maladaptive behaviors.
With a specialized focus in forensic counseling, Kari takes an individualized, trauma-informed approach grounded in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). She is passionately LGBTQIA+ affirming and creates a non-judgmental, safe space where clients can explore sensitive issues related to identity, sexuality, trauma, and behavioral change.
Having personally experienced the profound physical and emotional benefits of therapy herself, Kari brings both professional expertise and genuine empathy to her work, helping clients not only address mental health concerns but also rediscover safety and regulation within their own bodies. Her blend of forensic insight, clinical training, and lived understanding of healing makes her uniquely equipped to support some of the most marginalized and complex populations.
